DIET Meghalaya Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Class XII passed or its equivalent examination with 50% marks with 5 % relaxation for ST/SC/OBC/PWD
Candidates waiting for Class-XII results also eligible to Apply
There will be blockwise allocation of Seats to facilitate the availability of trained teachers locally in the respective blocks

Age Limit

18-27 years as of 01-01-2023 Relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD

Selection Procedure

The selection for the DIET, Meghalaya will be based on

Entrance Test
Counselling
The Selection will be based on merit as per the block quota

Reservation Policy

Selection will be done on merit as per Meghalaya Government Reservation
Policy.

5% of the seat will be reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

Application Fees

For General: Rs. 200/-
For ST/SC/OBC: Rs. 100/-
PWDs: Free
