DIET Meghalaya Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria
- Class XII passed or its equivalent examination with 50% marks with 5 % relaxation for ST/SC/OBC/PWD
- Candidates waiting for Class-XII results also eligible to Apply
- There will be blockwise allocation of Seats to facilitate the availability of trained teachers locally in the respective blocks
Age Limit
- 18-27 years as of 01-01-2023 Relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD
Selection Procedure
The selection for the DIET, Meghalaya will be based on
- Entrance Test
- Counselling
- The Selection will be based on merit as per the block quota
Reservation Policy
Selection will be done on merit as per Meghalaya Government Reservation
Policy.
- 5% of the seat will be reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
Application Fees
- For General: Rs. 200/-
- For ST/SC/OBC: Rs. 100/-
- PWDs: Free
