Gauhati University released its Admission Notification for the MA/M.Sc/M.Com and other Post Graduate courses. GU Admission will be conducted through Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET)-2023. Other Universities affiliated with Gauhati University also get admission through PGET. The entrance Examination will be conducted at 9 different centres of Northeastern State.

Seat Reservation Policy for the Traditional Programmes

70% of the seat will be reserved for the candidates who passed from Gauhati University
30% Reserved for the other universities
For M.Sc Geology Programmes seat reservation ratio 30% for GU candidates and 70% Open for All other universities including GU
Seat for Interdisciplinary Programme open for all
