Eligibility Criteria for Assam Secretariat Recruitment 2020

| Librarian | Master Degree in Library Science with 10 years of experience as a Librarian |
| Under Secretary | Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce. Candidates possessing Bachelor Degree in Law practising advocate with a minimum of 5 years of the experience will be given preference. |
| Stenographer, Gr.-II (E) | Bachelor Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with having Certificate in Stenography from ITI with 120 words per Minute in English |
| Language Reporter Gr.-II | Bachelor Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with Certificate in Stenography from ITI with 100 words per Minute in Assamese |
| English Reporter, Gr.-II | Bachelor Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with Certificate in Stenography from ITI with 120 words per Minute in English |
| Deputy Marshal | Bachelor Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with at least 55% Marks |
| Assistant Language Officer | M.A. in English or Assamese with 60% Marks |
| Assistant Librarian | Bachelor Degree in Library Science with 5 years of experience in dealing with Library management |
