Eligibility Criteria and Pay Scale
1. Medical & Health Officer and Jr. Specialist
- Pay Scale: Level-15
- Age Limit: 23-41 years
Qualification:
MBBS or other equivalent degree
MD, MS, DNB, DM, M.Ch. Diploma or other equivalent degrees from any recognized Medical institution of India or abroad duly registered with MCI/NMC for the following specialities:
• Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialist
• Pediatrician
• Medical Specialist
• Radiologist
• General Surgeon
• Anesthesiologist
• Ophthalmologist
• ENT Specialist
• Psychiatrist
• Orthopaedic Surgeon
3. Dental Surgeon
- Pay Scale: Level-15
- Age Limit: Up to 32 years
Qualification:
- BDS or equivalent degree holder from any recognized medical institution of India or abroad duly registered with The Meghalaya State Dental Council.
4. Medical Physicist cum Radiation Safety Officer
- Pay Scale: Level-17
- Age Limit: Up to 32 years
Qualification:
- M.Sc in Medical Physics or equivalent from a recognized university OR
- M.Sc in Physics from a recognized university. A postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Radiological/ Medical Physics from a recognized university.
- with An approval/certificate from the competent authority to function as a Radiation Safety Officer in Radiotherapy.
How to Apply
Candidates are required to register, apply, and upload the necessary documents before submitting their applications online. Link to the application portal will be made available on the official website of the office of the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Meghalaya.
The last date of application is on or before Midnight of 16th February 2024.
Candidates need to undergo a Computer Based Testing (CBT) at his/her own expense at Shillong. The venue, date, and time for the examination will be intimated in the admit card to be downloaded by the applicant, as well as on the website.
Documents to be produced in original as well as Xerox copy (self-attested) are listed below:
- Proof of date of birth.
- MBBS/BDS degree or provisional degree certificate.
- Medical/Dental Post Graduation/Diploma Certificate.
- Super Specialization certificate against the mentioned specialties.
- Domicile certificate as applicable.
- Professional registration certificate.
- FMGE pass certificate.
- SC/ST certificate.
- 3(f)/Contractual appointment letter if applicable and charge report of all postings.
- Proof of identity: Epic/Aadhar Card/Pan Card/Driving License/Govt. ID.
- Sports Certificates for persons who have represented the state at the National/ International level.
Selection Process
- The process of selection shall be made based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Computer Based Testing (CBT) examination plus the additional weightage marks.
